W.B. issued order for bonus, festival advance and exgratia to pensioners
As declared by the Chief Minister, the West Bengal Govt. has issued order for payment of bonus @Rs 2200/- to employees whose emoluments is upto Rs 22000/- p.m. This includes pay in the pay band, Grade Pay, D.A. and non practicing allowances (if any).
Muslim employees will get it before Eid and the others before Durga Puja.

Fixation of TRCA to the newly appointed GDS - Clarification
It
was clarified by Postal Directorate vide letter no 5-1/07-WS-1 dated
16.7.2012 that the allowances of newly appointed GDS BPMs on or after
01.01.2006 may be fixed at the minimum of of the corresponding TRCA slab
borne by the post against which the appointment is made.

Increment Day for Central Government Employees – 1st July of Every Year
1st July of every year – ‘Increment Day’ for Central Government employees
As per the 6th Pay Commission CCS (Revised Pay) Rules 2008, provisions of Rule 10 with effect from 1.1.2006, uniform date of increment was implemented for all Central Government employees i.e. 1st July of every year. One more condition for getting increment is provided in this rule, completing six months in the same pay as on 1st of July are only eligible to be granted the annual increment. Who have not rendered six months period of service as on first of a year will not be eligible to draw increment on that day and their date of increment will fall 12 months later on the next 1st of July.

Subject: Extension of Risk Allowance till 31.12.2012.
The undersigned is directed to refer this Department’s OM No. 21012/0l/2008-Estt.(AL) dated 28.12.2011 vide which payment of Risk Allowance was extended till 30.06.2012. Extension of Risk Allowance for a further period of six months beyond 30.06.20 12 has been considered and it has been decided that Risk Allowance may be continued at the existing rates for a further period of six months upto 31.12.2012 or till further communication. whichever is earlier.

Incentive scheme for delivery of Adhar Cards-Business development directorate orders
Dear Comrades,
Business development directorate issued orders for payment of incentive for delivery of Adhar Cards vide Memo No.18-46/2011-BD&MD dated 30/05/2012. According to the orders" It has now been allowed to give incentive to the postmen @ rs.0.50 per letter which are delivered in a timely manner i.e. within 14 days from the date of booking in case of departmental delivery offices & within 17 days from the date of booking in case of Branch Post Offices or within 7 days from the first attempt of delivery whichever is later subject to the condition that the delivery information i8n respect of all such articles be uploaded on speednet. Before payment of incentive to any postmen, the sanctioning authority shall satisfy himself that the concerned postman had been prompt in delivery of letters for which the incentive is being paid and there was no un-necessary delay at the part of postmen in delivering such letters."

Transfer TA – A recap
Transfer Traveling Allowance (Transfer TA) is applicable to Central Government Employees who are under the orders of Transfer. The following grants and reimbursement of charges paid by employee for shifting his/her residence to the new place of posting are payable to the employee.
Transfer T .A. comprises of the following elements: -
- a composite transfer grant equal to one month’s basic pay;
- actual fares for self and family for journey by rail/steamer/air;
- road mileage for journey by road between places not connected by rail;
- cost of transportation of personal effects from residence to residence; and
- cost of transportation of conveyance possessed by the employee.
