HOW TO CREATE A BAT FILE
Step 1: Create A BAT File
Before hitting save we need make sure that Windows doesn’t stick the standard “.txt” ending on the end of our new file. To do this, change the filetype from “.txt” to “all files” as shown in the screenshot below. That’s it – hit save and close the file.

The Official Pay Committee 2011 constituted vide Government Order No.FD 23 SRP 2011 dated :15th June 2011 has submitted its report on 12th March 2012 .
2. Government have accepted the recommendations of the Official Pay Committee 2011 regarding pensionary benefits and are pleased to issue the following orders.

Government has directed its employees to avoid maintaining close liaison with foreigners as they could be spies wanting to extract classified information from them.
In a letter to Secretaries of all ministries and departments, the Home Ministry asked them to sensitise officers and other employees to avoid such contact with foreigners as they could be moles of foreign intelligence agencies working against India's interests.

Bill to make babus more accountable, transparent
New Delhi, May 3, 2012(DC): In a significant move to ensure transparency and accountability within the bureaucracy, the government is firming up the draft Civil Service (Performance and Accountability) Bill, which has been vetted by the Prime Minister’s Office.
The proposed Act will be the first of its kind to codify the procedures governing performance of individuals, as well as institutions, of the All India Services.
The Bill also seeks to monitor the achievements of civilservants linking it to the performance of their departments, presently being incorporated in the Result Framework Document of government departments.
Amount under Employees Pension Fund Account
The Union Labour & Employment Minister Shri Mallikarjun Kharge has informed the Rajya Sabha today that Total amount held under Employees’ Pension Fund Account as on 31 March 2011 is Rs. 1,42,760.89 Crore. Interest income earned on the investment during 2010-11 is Rs. 10,732.67Crore.
The stipulation regarding administrative expenses to be met from Employees Pension Fund has been done away with from 6th January 2007. As per Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995, all administrative expenses are to be met from the Central Administration Account of the Employees’ Provident Fund.
The Minister was replying to a written question in this regard.

Secretariat staff to stage protest tomorrow
After protests by Pre-University lecturers for a wage hike, the State Government faces another protest for a salary hike, this time by the employees of its Secretariat.
Announcing that the employees will stage a protest here on May 4, Mahadevaiah Mathpati, president of the Karnataka Government Secretariat Employees Association, which claims the support of nearly 3,500 employees, told presspersons here on Wednesday that the hike announced by the Government under the Sixth Pay Commission was “inadequate and misleading”.
